Mark Golan is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in real estate, finance and technology. He joined Google in 2015 as the Vice President of Real Estate and Workplace Services for the Bay Area. In his current role, Mr. Golan is responsible for real estate transactions, ground up development, asset management, and portfolio management.
Previously, Mr. Golan had leadership roles at multiple start-ups including acting as CEO at Adura Technologies, a company focused on deployment of IOT through advanced lighting control systems, and CFO/COO of Webmind, a start-up focused on the development of artificial intelligence. In corporate real estate, Mark has experience as both a service provider and an end user. As a Service Provider he was the VP/General Manager of Global Workplace Services for the Americas at Johnson Controls. As an End User he was the VP of Global Real Estate at Cisco Systems as well as holding senior executive roles at Sun Microsystems and Hewlett Packard. Mr. Golan started his career in investment banking where he spent 8 years with Morgan Stanley and Smith Barney. He’s been a member of numerous industry associations including acting as Chairman at Corenet Global and Chairman of the Advisory Council at Realcomm.
