  • Architecture

    Podium is based on a modern microservice orientation architecture, running inside Google Cloud. As part of our partnership with Google we take advantage of Google's next generation of capability around data management, storage as well as key capabilities unlocked through their Vertex AI product set.

  • Hosting

    Utilising the scalability of Google Cloud, Podium is organised in a Multi-Tenanted model, with segregation for customer data. This allows Podium to scale into any physical region where Google operates as well as providing key security and compliance certifications to customers of Podium.

  • Identity

    Podium offers two models for your users Identity. You can use our self-managed Podium security service, or you can federate to your own Directory Service for your users. The Podium Security service can also be configured to mirror your internal business security policies.

  • Integration

    Podium has a wide range of support for multiple integration models, from Real-Time, Batch and Scheduled, as well as the ability for customers to upload their own information on need. Podium also provided a set of key configured integration models where we have worked with key partners to co-develop.

  • Security and compliance

    Podium has a set of key security processes and policies with cyber activities supported by industry leading SOC partner. All customers have full transparency on regular security testing and monitoring as well as the ability to consume key application logging. We are currently undergoing ISO27001 accreditation with this planned to be in place by 2024.

  • Service continuity

    Podium runs a 99.9% uptime SLA for all customers, with schedule outages for upgrade and patching agreed with customers.

  • Technical support

    We provide online support through our centres in Australia, Singapore and India. Online documentation is also available for customer within their instance of Podium for internal consumption. Podium also offers implementation services and support for customers with complex environments around integration.

Frequently asked questions

  • We apply industry leading practices to secure data, data is physically segregated for each customer and is secured using AES-256 encryption methods. We also have an automated process for key management and rotation that is applied for each customer.

  • We offer a full role based access model for all customers to apply according to their own organisational policy. Customers can use the internal RBAC model, self managed, or federate to their own internal Identity Management solution of choice.

  • Each customer can nominate a super user account, which will be the key point for customers to manage a set of key administrative functions inside the Podium applications.

  • We support a range of hardware options around sensors to enhance your Podium experience. We have a list of these support partners here, as well as a set of general connectivity options available to all customers.

  • We have the capability to store data in any of the physical geographies that Google Cloud supports.

  • Podium is compliant with GDPR polices.

  • The storage of customers Personally Identifiable information (PII) is flexible based on the Insight required. Any additional PII information that a customer chooses to upload to Podium is also protected by our industry leading practices.

  • There is no hard limit to the number of data integrations allowable, Podium is designed to be the hub for all of your Workplace and Retail data sources. Integrations are always being added to Podium and are available for new and existing customers to take advantage of.
